The love story of Laila and Majnun, with its long history, has been composed in various nations over many centuries. A noteworthy point in the existing poetic systems is the existence of dialogue and influence and influence between earlier and later works. The present study, using a comparative approach and the theory of intertextuality, has studied the forms of intertextual relationship in the structure of Jami's and Fuzuli's Laila and Majnun in order to determine the similarities in the structure and the reasons for the similarities and differences through this method of study. The results of the study show that Fuzuli has been influenced by Jami in the structure, style of expression, division of the work into different parts, vocal music, and attention to types of music in terms of external, internal, side, and spiritual music in an implicit and explicit way. What is certain is that Fuzuli is not a mere imitator in composing Laila and Majnun and has considerable innovations in his work. One of the most important aspects of Fuzuli's innovation in the structure of the work is that, in addition to using the Mathnawi format, he also used other poetic formats, and in addition to Persian, Turkish and Arabic, in composing Leyli and Majnun.
